He hit my city and three others in our alliance in a matter of hours.

Lost them all.

I don't know about you guys, but I play to use my geos on destroying my enemies.

Not on defending myself from an invincible, relentless bot.

Seems the only people who are enjoying it, are 3-4 regular forum posters, not the main gewar populace.

Anyways, props to Luke for trying something different at least.

Demands for compensation of 9 goes…and dozens of armies being sent at my cities if not payed, is some of the crap I’ve had to put up with recently.

A top 5 alliance demanding compensation for 85 troops? They must be desperate. REAL desperate.

Gewar has gone nuts.

Funny, they wont get squat from me.

Other things...

People demanding I abandoned a city the second I get a pm. They ended up taking the city by force.

Sorry fellas, but I'm not online 24/7. This isn't some great conspiracy to try and earn as much money as I can off the 50geo tax..despite what you say :P

Also interesting to note how generosity is so quickly forgotten. I've given dozens of cities back to AO this round...I wait for confirmation from leadership before I give another back and I'm attacked and abused.

You'd think my prior acts would count for something.

Anywwho, when dealing with AO, talk to nativ and AuctionKIng. They're the only reasonable blokes in AO ...and will feature in my best players list soon.

Best players list? Yep, that's another exciting to feature to look forward to on my blog.

TLI vs PoS

There's a big thread about this in the forums..but it's been hijacked in typical fashion by the idiots in NAR and NO.

In case anyone's wondering..and because our posts have been lost in the thread.

There was no NAP between TLI and the PoSers. Ever.

Just a ceasefire.

Does anybody else see the hypocrisy in NAR? They constantly whinge about NAPs...but when an alliance allegedly breaks a NAP, they jump on them.

They're almost as big a joke as some of the imbeciles in NO..thinking they own Istanbul.

They can come for Istanbul when they like. But they'll have to get through all of my geos before I let another Greek control that city.

Odd Man In

Another game of Odd Man In began yesterday.

Should be good.

70 player means the prize is 10k geos.

It's always fun seeing the noob jockeys kill themselves off in the 1st round..lol

This is my 4th game, hopefully i can get some success.

1st game I forgot I was playing and got auto killed.
2nd game I was shot in the 1st round.
3rd game was my best ..making it to the 3rd round. whoop

Too many mods spoil the broth

Without the conductor… every player in the orchestra had an idea on how the music should be played. What they came up with for the King was terrible.

Truth is, there’s too much mods in the game.

I counted around 40 mods, yes 40 \o/

For a forum that averages 75-100 posts a day, the number appears excessive.

Seems like who ever has a big enough post count gets promoted to mod duties, putting quantity over quality.

I could probably name a dozen players who are more deserving of mod duties…then a couple of the latest inductees. No offence guys :D

Question is, how long before The Fool becomes a mod? :o

Or Suicidal?

I reckon it was pretty funny and it saved my bacon a few times. Laughed my enemies into not attacking :D

But unfortunately there was some complaints. BOOOO!

Gewar powerups?

What kind of video game powerup would you like to have in gewar ?

I reckon the good old fashioned Super Mario magic mushroom would be pretty wicked.

For instance it would come in handy if you were about to get into a battle. You could double your soldiers size and start stomping in heads in a Marioesque fashion.

The powerup could have it's draw backs though. Say when your troops are travelling...and getting knocked around in the back of the APC..then you'd return to your original size.

I guess you'd need lots of mushrooms to see out the trip!!!
